Depending on the required loads that guarantee the serviceability of the conveyor belt, we use three types of welding:

  • autogenous welding
  • fused electrode arc welding in inert gas
  • fused electrode arc welding in carbon dioxide

Possible modifications of the scrapers:

Scrapers with additionally welded stiffeners. The reliability of the conveyor chain depends on the quality of all its components, including the proper selection of the materials used.

Therefore, all components produced and used by our company are manufactured with the same high precision and undergo a thorough technical control. It is this approach that has enabled "CEPRUS" conveyor chains to gain high quality and fame.

If necessary, chain links and all fasteners and connecting pins can be made of corrosion-resistant, acid-resistant, and heat-resistant steels. The most important element of conveyor chains is the pressed links.

High-quality steel grades, precise processing technology, and the use of the most modern heat treatment methods ensure the maximum wear resistance and high tensile strength of "CEPRUS" conveyor chains.

Depending on the type of steel used and the method of heat treatment, the conveyor chain links are optimally protected against abrasion, corrosion, and high temperatures.

Chain wheels are usually made of 45 or 40 Cr steel, with flame or induction hardened (HFI) tooth flanks.

For sprocket wheels, a wide variety of grades of steel on the market can be used for heavy duty gears, for example: 42 Cr Mo 4, 16 Mn Cr 5, 14 Ni Cr 14 or 17 Cr Ni Mo 6.
