The chains used in the pulp mill are constantly exposed to heavy, impact-inducing loads and to the general stresses associated with the pressure of the chain wheels. In addition, the water used in pulp production can cause the chains to rust. This combination threatens to wear, stretch and even rupture of the chains. Reliable chain performance in pulp production is extremely important, as sudden equipment failures and the resulting downtime of the production lines are very costly. The «CEPRUS» chain assortment covers the entire traditional range of pulp mill chains. Most of the chains are developed on the basis of type M and Y conveyor chains. For the most part, chains are equipped with various grippers or holding devices as well as holes for subsequent lubrication. Some conveyors use standard chains without any special accessories.
